What are core muscles? Key muscles that connect to the spine, pelvis, hip and thigh. Examples of these are abdominals and back muscles.
THE BENEFITS OF WELL FUNCTIONING CORE MUSCLES
It is thought to be essential for good alignment, better posture, and hence improved all round function in daily life and in every form of exercise. Furthermore improving posture prevents and relieves problems such as e.g. back pain. We need strong core muscles to improve the bad posture that is the result of many people's sedentary life style i.e. long hours sitting at a desk, in a car and at home.
